I know that there are at least a few people wondering about the status of Summer Nights. Over the past few weeks I’ve had some inquiries about it, so I thought I should post a note.

In short, the story is on an indefinite hiatus for now.

Also, thank you to everyone who is still interested in Summer Nights after all this time. If I end up continuing on at some point in the future, I’ll post the chapters in the same places I have been since the beginning (my livejournal, lj comms, and ff.net), so they should be easy enough to find.

Lastly, I’m really sorry about this. I hope that people understand though.

I just did a small friends cut. If you were one of the people that got cut it's because we either never comment on each other's entries any more, our interests have changed since we first became friends, I haven't seen you around lj in a very long time, or we friended through a friending meme and just never clicked. It's nothing personal if the last one is the case. Friending memes are awesome and sometimes you find great lj matches, other times it just doesn't work. No hard feelings?

Seriously, how awesome is Dollhouse?! OMG, I am so in love. I wasn't really hooked until the second episode, but now I am SO into it. Squee! Joss rocks!

I also really must get back to doing homework. I totally blame Joss for my unproductiveness today. I was planning to finish my entire internship report. Instead I got the intro done and kind of half thought about the rest of it. Damn school, it keeps getting in the way of fangirling. ;)

Not much time left. So go vote!

I've been putting this off for a while again, but I think it's time to do a flist cut. There are quite a few people on my flist who are rarely, if ever, on lj. There are other people who I've drifted apart from: i.e. we never comment on each others posts. Some are only here for fandom, which as always, will remain unlocked.

I'm not actually going to be doing any cutting until at least a few weeks from now, if not a full month. But I'm making this post now and leaving it up until then.

Please comment during the next couple of weeks if:
- You wish to remain on my friends list.
- You feel that we've drifted apart and think we should part ways.
- I'm on your flist, but you aren't on mine (i.e. you can't see my locked/personal posts) and want to be. In this case I'd like to know a little bit about you before I add you in return, but I'm not against making new friends either. :)

I realize this may seem like a weird time to do this, especially since I've been away for several weeks. But I know I'm going to be busy for at least a bit longer, and I thought having this post sit here while I slowly get back into the swing of things was a good way to go.
